Step inside the Lionesses' Euro 2025 Castle

The Lionesses will head to Switzerland on their Euros journey in July. They will be hosted by the prestigious Dolder Grand in Zurich, equipping players and staff with the best facilities for success!

The team spent one year searching for the best base camp and training ground, visiting 23 hotels and 24 pitches. They were looking for the perfect 'home away from home'.

"Finding the right environment for the team to prepare and train but also rest and recover is one of the most important elements for tournament football," says Lionesses manager Sarina Wiegman.

The Dolder Grand is a 5-star hillside property with woodland walks, a golf course and tennis courts. The base camp is only 20 minutes from the training ground and Zurich Airport, a 6 minute shuttle from town, and 15 minutes from the lake.

All of these factors will ensure the players have a good work-life balance, even when preparing for one of the most prestigious football tournaments.

To further benefit the team, the club has partnered with Instinct Laboratory. Focusing on human instincts and how they react to certain spaces, they will tailor the space to fit player's needs.

Sportanlage Au will be the Lionesses' training ground, with top quality facilities for the team. The ground features full-size 105m x 68m pitches, an intergated performance hub, a fully kitted gym and a stand to host the media.

It is also private and not overlooked, ensuring the team and staff have full privacy from onlookers.

The Lionesses will also be giving back to the clubs that miss out on using Sportanlage Au by hosting a large public training session, providing top quality coaching and player tips to budding football players.
