Darcie and Zara Everitt are paving the way for Netball and currently both play for London Pulse in the Netball Super League. The sisters are one of the big names in the Pulse side and both help the defensive third compete in the League.
Zara Everitt:
Zara positions herself in the defensive third either wearing the goal defence or wing defence and captains the side. Everitt has played all the games so far this season and has helped the side move the ball from end to end and positioned herself well on court.
She brings strong leadership to the pulse side as her teammates voted her to be captain for the fourth straight season. She is planning to get her hands on the Super League trophy for the first time after winning the inaugural Netball Super Cup in March.
The Vitality Rose Defender is a key player for the side after signing for Sam Bird’s team in 2020 and has since racked up over 80 appearances, typically the first name on the team sheet.
She started at MK netters and began her Super League career at Hertfordshire Mavericks making her debut in 2017. She then moved to Loughborough Lightning for the 2018 and 2019 season finishing 4th in her last season before heading to Pulse.
Alongside playing in the Super League, she balanced her netball life while getting a degree in Law at University of Oxford and captained her university side. She also got her masters degree in Law at University of Law and works as a trainee solicitor alongside playing netball.
Everitt has also represented England for the Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 roses as well as captaining the Under-19 and Under-21 sides before making her Vitality Roses debut in 2022. She was also recalled to the Roses for the Netball Nations Cup in 2025.

Darcie Everitt:
The young defender has potential and excitement on the ball and to everyone watching pulse. She came through the pulse pathway to make her Netball Super League debut during the 2024 season as an 18 year old. The campaign was her first as a contracted player after being a training partner previously.
Darcie has previously revealed that playing alongside her sister Zara has helped her develop her style of play and her career in the Super League and beyond. This season she has currently featured 6 times alongside her sister in the defensive third wearing either wing defence, goal keeper or goal defence.
During her youth career, She has also been part of the England Roses pathway and has regularly been included in the Roses Academy programme. She started her netball career at Turnford Netball Club before performing for Pulse.
In 2023, she took part at the Europe Netball Under-21 tournament and then toured Australia with the Under-21s in January 2025. Following in her sister's footsteps, she captained the England side to a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Trinidad and Tabago in 2023.
While completing her A Levels during last season, she is now balancing her studies at Loughborough University and represents the university side alongside her Super League commitments.
